High Temperature UF Ceramic Membrane Solution for Chemical Plant Wastewater
Nov 04, 2026
A TANGENT ceramic membrane system is now on its way to a chemical plant in Europe!
Capacity flowrate is 3600m3/day, operating temperature is higher than 80℃.
Built with stainless steel modules equipped with ultrafiltration ceramic membrane elements, the system will help the plant improve wastewater treatment efficiency and support a more energy- and resource-efficient operation.
Chemical wastewater is rarely consistent. Fluctuating composition, aggressive pH conditions, elevated temperatures, and fine suspended or colloidal contaminants can all make stable treatment difficult.
Under these demanding conditions, ceramic membranes can:
- Maintain reliable separation despite variations in feed conditions.
- Withstand corrosive media and frequent chemical cleaning.
- Use cross-flow filtration to limit solids buildup and maintain stable flux.
- Deliver consistent filtrate quality while reducing the burden on downstream treatment.
- Recycle valuable components from the waste water.
