Compared with traditional Clarifier process, ceramic membrane can achieve considerable CAPEX , OPEX and increase brine quality to protect the electrolyzer, thus reduce production cost. Most of the China new caustic soda plants are now using this ceramic membrane filtration technology for primary brine purification.
